Rules for using ParkingNearby as a driver, parking owner, website visitor, or admin-authorised business user.

Last updated: 30 July 2026

Marketplace Role

ParkingNearby is a technology marketplace that helps drivers discover parking spaces and helps owners publish and manage listings. Unless expressly stated in a written contract, ParkingNearby does not own, lease, operate, guard, insure, or control listed parking spaces.

User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate account, vehicle, contact, booking, and support information.
  • Use parking spaces lawfully, safely, and only for the booked or agreed purpose.
  • Pay applicable parking charges, taxes, penalties, and local fees directly to the owner or through supported payment flows as shown in the app.
  • Do not misuse the platform, scrape data, submit false reports, harass users, impersonate others, or upload unlawful content.

Owner Responsibilities

  • List only spaces you own, lease, manage, or are legally authorised to offer.
  • Comply with society bye-laws, municipal rules, lease conditions, building permissions, tax obligations, safety norms, and any local parking restrictions.
  • Keep location, capacity, pricing, availability, access instructions, photos, and contact settings accurate.
  • Do not list public roads, unauthorised society spaces, disputed property, emergency access areas, or restricted/government spaces without valid permission.

Bookings and Payments

A booking request is confirmed only after the owner accepts it or the app marks it confirmed. Some flows require the driver and owner to settle parking charges directly. Platform credits, packs, owner plans, coupons, refunds, and payment gateway processing follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Liability

ParkingNearby does not guarantee continuous availability, final owner pricing, vehicle safety, theft protection, damage prevention, or legal suitability of a listed space. Owners are responsible for listed-space rights and on-site conduct. Drivers are responsible for vehicle condition, lawful parking, and following owner/site instructions.

Moderation

We may hide, suspend, remove, or restrict accounts, listings, bookings, payments, or content for suspected fraud, safety risk, legal violation, repeated disputes, chargebacks, abuse, or inaccurate information.

Legal Review

These terms are a launch-ready product template, not a substitute for legal advice. Before public launch, align them with your registered entity, GST position, payment flow, city-specific operations, and counsel-approved liability wording.
